DEAR COMPATRIOTS, “Map of Salvation” documentary full-length film with live action sequences shooting will take place from 17.01.2015 - 20.01.2015 in THESSALONIKI (GREECE) and place from 21.01.2015-24.01.2015 in BEIRUT (LIBANON). For its realization shooting crew needs support of volunteers. It depicts the Armenian Genocide from another angle – under the spotlight of humanism and humanity. The protagonists of the film are five European humanitarian women and missionaries: Karen Jeppe, Maria Jacobsen (Denmark), Bodil Biørn (Norway), Alma Johansson (Sweden), Anna Hedwig Bühl (Estonia). They are witness of Armenian Genocide and founders of shelters for Armenian children and women. The film is narrated by Finnish historian, writer, Doctor Svante Lundgren. He passes missioner-women mission way and draws new map of Armenian massacres – “Map of Salvation”. Looking ahead toward the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the film is dedicated to the memory of great humanists as a payment of gratitude on behalf of the entire Armenian nation, other nations espousing humanitarian views, and generally all people who cherish noble values.
