Radio Munansi is Peoples’ radio We have been reminded time and again that Radio Munansi is peoples’ Radio. Listeners are also reminded time and again to make financial contribution to cover all the expenses involved. The radio was established to enable Ugandans at home and abroad to exchange ideas on any theme of interest to them, bearing in mind to avoid statements that could not be substantiated. Freedom of expression and of opinion has been respected, allowing participants to get to the heart of the problem and suggest solutions. It is understood that when someone makes a statement that another disagrees with the latter should explain substantively why there is a disagreement. Blanket statements of disagreement or warnings are not and should not be entertained. None has a right to prevent a participant from introducing or constantly talking about a topic as long as listeners are interested in it. That is what has made Radio Munansi a very popular channel of communication and we must endeavor to keep it that way. Eric
