DELIVERANCE I’ve searched for you long before time began, I knew who you were back even then. I bided my time and had had much to learn, I explored many others but my heart still yearned. I ask would I find my one true mate, or was I destined to alone dealt to me by fate. I tried and I cried many a night, for fear that I might lose sight. Of the one I waited so long for, or could I be like the raven and cry nevermore. Till one night I closed my weary eyes, and found new hope in the next sunrise. There and then she came to me, was I still sleep or could this really be. The gods of love looked down and saw, a very lonely man filled with awe. They said here you are just one more chance, to let your soul soar be free and dance. And as she stood there full of ravishing beauty, I thought to myself what a godlike cutie. Is she for me or am I just a ride, all I could do was keep hope inside. I prayed and prayed to save me from pain, but there she still is whole and stopped all my rain. My heat had now had now been freed, she is the one in my life who’ll I’ll need. As she came close to me, I almost stopped breathing trying to see. Is this possible is really true, or was I still asleep in my empty bedroom. She said no my love I am here for you, I too have waited long and now it is through. The rewards we were given that day, made all our pain just go away. We had received what we longed for, lonely are we not again and no more. So when someone says true love is a lie, just shed a tear for them and keep walking by. The price has been paid and the trials are over, as we have been covered by the divine’s one order. We have found what we need and got what we want; all bets are off there’s no need to taunt. Our lives are now made whole, for we are together and in full control. What we feel and what we now know, is true loves kiss and it won’t let go. So my dear friends don’t give up and give in, for if you do the enemy will surely win. Our mates are here and that is no fib, if it were not true why were they made from our very own rib. To stand at our side and honor us dear, to walk with us and have no fear. So be who you are stand your ground and take shape, for in the end you’ll have your soulmate.
