Mike Brown is only one of the best known victims of a racist police force and economic system that exists to suck wealth from the poor and brutalize people of color for the sake of power and capitalist wealth. Ferguson has been the flashpoint. Racism in this country (and around the world) must be seriously challenged. Deep Green Resistance is fundraising to support this struggle. Support Community Organizing This fundraiser was created by Deep Green Resistance, a social and environmental justice organization with worldwide chapters, including members in the St. Louis area. Funds raised here will be directed to grassroots community organizers and activists in Ferguson. Our members and allies who are on the ground, in the community, and in the streets will assess who is in most need of the funds and provide them to the community.
