A volunteer writes: I never really bought into diamonds being a girls best friend, until I met this Diamond. Passing by many cages, she immediately caught my eye. She is always quiet and patient and so attentive; I often catch her cocking her head as she watches me from her bed. She is big and so beautiful! Her coloring is amazing - grey brindle with warm, almost orange highlights on her face. A photo does not do her justice - she was a little shy in front of the camera and celebrated when it was no longer between us! Diamond pulls sometimes on the leash, but is very responsive and attentive. She seems housebroken and has been calm when weve seen other dogs. She knows sit and will offer me her paw. She loves to be pet and is very affectionate. When I stopped to tie my shoe on one of our walks, I was interrupted by a kiss from Diamond! Outside it seems nothing else matters as long as she is in the company of her person. She is playful, very engaging and eager for you to join in her fun - offering play bows and an irresistible pittie smile. I always look forward to spending time with her and often find myself saving her for last. Diamond is ready to get out of the rough and into her forever home. But HURRY! Shes on the TBD list and needs to be reserved by noon if shes to be safe.
