DIDI has been seen by our dear friend from AWW while travelling from Galati to Bucharest. Sitting on her spot in the train, she only noticed from the train ride this poor soul barely walking on the platform in the train station Barbosi. Arriving in Bucharest, our AWW member couldn’t pull out from her mind the horrible image of this crushed blooding missing leg, she couldn’t sleep having in front of her eyes the tormented face of Didi… She found a special lady in Galati, Noli Vararu (we want to address our deep gratitude for her humanity and generosity), who travelled to Barbosi to find Didi at the train station. And Didi’s angel waked up finally and arranged the meeting. Didi accepted very gentle to enter in the cage and to travel quietly to Bucharest. Here we picked her up from the station and now she is at the vet having these days the surgery to amputate her completely crushed leg. Didi is an amazing small size girl, she is very calm and sweet and gentle like nothing would happen to her. She is around 5 years old, she leaved all her life until now in the train station where the tragedy happened, we don’t know how. Maybe she was crushed by a car, by the train, by a cruel creature, we will never know. But what we know is that she is like this for the past 2 weeks and NOBODY from that bloody station tried to help her. Is this world a place of human beings or this is the monster’s land? I invite you to answer to this question. Please help us to help Didi. She is going to stay for a while in the clinic and we will know soon the expenses involved by the surgery and by the treatment. A detailed disclosure of the expenses will come soon from the vet and we will post it on the event page. After taking her from the vet, we need to move her to a hostel as we cannot through her on the street after all she endured so we really appreciate a sponsor for hosting her in a private shelter 35eur/month.
