DIFFERING PHILOSOPHIES & INTERPRETATION.. First, let me say that I had an IQ of 134, am 73 years old & God has allowed me to live my ENTIRE life, doing ALL of the things I chose to do, earned a GOOD salary, & retire in comfort, so I consider my philosophy to be of some consequence .. As I paraded through life, it was NEVER my desire to change things.. I simply followed the rules & utilized whatever talent I had to stay up with the pack ..! The question IS... Is there a BETTER way...? Everyone in this society wants a good life ..We can agree on that...! The problem is that there are MANY differing opinions on HOW to achieve that... It has always been a good philosophy, that you follow whatever works but IF you think that you have a better way ..TEST out your theory, & IF it works, IMPLEMENT THE CHANGE ..& it is always best to take ONE item at a time...as to allow one to devote their ENTIRE attention to the implementation...? Thee are the rich in this country that want things THEIR way.. There are the poor..who want things THEIR way...? There are the dedicated responsible ...the spoiled ..the devious & the irresponsible...among others... For those who want EVERYTHING their way...in a diverse society THAT..probably will not work ..! One thing that has always benefitted me is this... When you have any debateable situation, there is always the possibility of a ploy by the opposition... One should safeguard themselves against that possiblilty... & though one cannot accuse the other of deception, they can try & prevent the possibility ..! It is better, perhaps, to be safe than sorry ..? There are few things that are more frustrating that being made a fool of ..! Where God will (hopefully) deal with the devious in the future, that does little for the situation now ..! Since we HAD greatest nation in the world, & since have totally destroyed our credibility around the world, I suspect We are NOT on the right path...! An extreme effort should be made to repair our image, perhaps..? It is awfully hard to repair damage done, it remains in minds forever.. We never had a problem with the mideast.. & since the oil scenario under the Bushs, we are hated abroad...retaliated against by mideastern rebel groups ..? We have attempted to make MANY changes in our society, undertaking them ALL at one time...creating a LOT of confusion...! We have numerous loopholes in our laws that individuals & groups are are exploiting ..yet WE HAVE NEVER CLOSED THEM...? I my tenure, I often took advantage of a loophole ..but the society would quickly CLOSE it, & I would go on to better things... THAT ..is a NECCESSITY ..! Being a person who constantly..closely... watches my surroundings, I take care of problems BEFORE they become severe...& I stay ahead of the trouble .. This philosophy has proven VERY advantageous for me ..! We live in a DIVERSE society....so MUCH of ones freedom must be sacrificed so that others can be satisfied... The more a society groups like people in communities..the happier they will be...EXCEPT... That the community that has a better lifestyle, will ALWAYS be resented by the other communities...& efforts will usually be made to discredit them ..! ONE thing that I MOST CERTAINLY PROFESS ..is that NO society can exist successfully without a good work ethic..& mutual cooperation..! As a young man, I once wondered WHY..we had older congressman ..I thought we needed younger politicians...??? But, NOW..with the wisdom I have, I UNDERSTAND ..! There is a VAST difference in intelligence & wisdom... Some have & NEVER attain...NEITHER...! Lowering the educational standards so moron can attain a degree, putting on a suit..DOES NOT MAKE YOU A LEADER...OR INTELLIGENT ..! When a person lives their entire life ..successfully...achieves ALL of their goals...MAKES SENSE ..THEN ..you can claim to be successful (& intelligent)..perhaps..?
