DIVING DEER On the way home from work this afternoon, as I approached the Chattahoochee River, a deer ran out of a thicket and across the road. There is an eight foot fence along the other side of the road and the deer was stuck on the right of way. It then ran down the road and was funneled onto the bridge. About one third of the way across the bridge, it made a sharp left, back across the road and proceeded to leap the bridge railing. Its about a fifty foot fall to the river.
