DNA/Family tree update...Another portion of the DNA sequence has been completed. I now have my MtDNA markers traced back to EVE. Im still learning how to read everything, but I have a host of new cousins (3rd - 5th) living all around the world from Australia to Asia to Africa and more...I guess my 7 job relocations were just in the blood. This morning I got an email from one of my new cousins - she is a M32c match - The M32c is distinctly from Madagascar. Also, apparently there were only about 5 ships that came over from there into America. Mostly into the NC and Virginia area in the 1600s. Many on the slaves were given to members of the House of Burgess. My new cousin is a descendant of the House of Burgess... How fascinating. My new cousin wants to connect.
