DO I NEED TO GO TO THE DOCTOR IF..... i found a tick on me yesterday with half of its head/body embedded in my thigh. i tried to pull it out with tweezers and it broke. i got part of the body and most of the legs, but i know the head is still in there and theres no way to get it out at this point unless i slice my skin open with a razor blade or something. its a little tender, a tiny bit swollen, with a little bit of redness surrounding. i think its fine but people are telling me to go to the doctor. is this really necessary?!
