DO NOT FRET OVER THE UNGODLY SUCCESS Psa 92:7,12 KJV When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. The grass has inherent ability to sprout and grow quickly. They dont struggle to emerge at all - such is the position of the ungodly; their success may come suddenly, probably through dubious means. However, just like the grass, they do not have strong rooting system and so do not remain for long - they are easily destroyed. The palm tree however takes a lot of time to develop its rooting system and so delays in outward growth. When it finally matures, it remains forever and with a lot of benefits. Such is compared with the righteous - your success may not be seen now, but relax, God is making sure your roots are fully developed to withstand harsh conditions. NB: Dont be intimidated when the wicked is flourishing, they will fade away - but your success is assured forever and will remain after your roots are developed.
