DON`T RUSH GOD Some people are fond of mounting pressures on God with their prayer on the desires of their heart not putting the plans of God first for their lives. Peradventure what God has in mind for them is not what they are asking for or God want something’s to be settle before answering their prayer. They keep on disturbing God through prayer like the children of Israel disturbing Samuel to give them king when it’s not ripe enough for them to have a king. God told Samuel, give them what they want and let them know the kind of person their king would be even though Saul as he was describe by the bible 1sam 9:2..you can read it. The lord made it clear to them in 1sam 8:18. And you will cry out in that day because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves and the Lord will not hear you in that day but they refuse to listen to what Samuel was telling them. This is the problem many youth who are of marriageable age, some don’t wait for proper time, they will start complaining, i want to marry like my friend 1sam 8:5,v even when they are being told by a man of God to wait and still pray or not to marry the person although the person is describe as Saul in 1sam 9:2, they are handsome, beautiful, they have all that is required to be a husband or a wife. But the bible say`s a time will come when they will cry and God will not listen to them because they chose for themselves 1sam8:18. I pray you and I will not cry the cry of rejection. This expression is not limited to the issue of choosing alone, it occur in most things we do. So don`t rush/push God in order for God not to let you to your self-interest which might not have a good/suitable end..::: Signed:::AJAYI SEGUN
