Yesterday was a true test of my warrior spirit! After running the first 12+ mile lap on the Spartan Beast in Temecula, I geared right back up and ran a second lap 20 minutes later! This wouldnt be too gnarly, except it was 109+ outside and the image of racers dropping like flies was demoralizing! Ive never heard people screaming medic sooo many times and seen sooo many injuries on a race course! Eventually they shut the race down due to safety concerns, but not before I accomplished my 24+ miles and 50+ obstacles! Of course they wont be running the sprint today, but I think allot of people understand their reasoning! AROO!!!
