DONT LET ME BE PAIN! According to 1 Chron.4:9, Jabez... an obscure man in scripture, prayed a prayer of INCREASE, and God answered his prayer! There was something in this prayer that God liked, that made him honorable! The increase wasnt for himself, but for others! He prayed for the favor of an INCREASE of land so that he could do an increased work for God and help others! He prayed that God would increase him, and be with him, that HE MIGHT NOT BE A BRINGER OF PAIN! Wow! Jabez understood something many of us need to understand! Intentionally inflicting PAIN ELIMINATES Blessing! When we offend or hurt others, we offend and hurt God who is the giver of all blessings!! Inflicting pain then becomes a spiritual problem! Are you asking God for an INCREASE this year? Be sensitive to others, and include in your prayer, God, DONT LET ME BE A PAIN!
