DON’T OVER-DO IT… Oops! Thank God It’s Friday…time to take a break off work! So, are you ‘partying’ this weekend? Ceremonies…engagement, wedding, naming, get-together, graduation…and more! Wow...it’s going to be an enjoyment galore! Lots of foods and drinks!! Fried rice, jollof rice, ofada rice, amala, eba, pounded yam, fufu, egusi soup, peppered chicken, turkey, grilled fish, barbecued chicken, fried plantain, moi moi, efo riro, steak, fruit salads, vegetable salads, carbonated drinks, fruit juices, water, ice-cream, plantain yoghurt, zobo drinks, cakes, samosa, puff-puff, sausages, chin chin, suya…oops! I’m running out of breath. Truly, everyone needs a break to relax; however, a ‘soothing’ relaxation can only be experienced when you are healthy. So, as you attend your ceremony, just keep in mind to party healthily. Make the right selection of foods, ‘a little of this’, ‘a little of that’, ‘here’ and ‘there’ may actually be too much for you and bad for your health. Don’t ‘overload and overwork’ your body, you don’t have to eat all the delicacies that will be served at the party. Just make a healthy selection of foods and fruits, don’t overfill your plate, eat moderately, and avoid consuming too many fried or fatty foods and sugary drinks. ‘Don’t over-do it, Andrews liver salt may not be close by’! And remember to drink a lot of water to cleanse your body system. And for those people who will not be ‘partying’, keep eating for a healthy you! Do have a fruitful weekend!!!
