DR APIRANA MAHUIKA NGA POROU LEADER OR COMMUNIST BLEEDER? Make - TopicsExpress

DR APIRANA MAHUIKA NGA POROU LEADER OR COMMUNIST BLEEDER? Make no mistake New Zealand is under attack from within from people such as Ngati Porou leader Dr Apirana Mahuika. Dr Mahuika is most notable for the case he took against New Zealand “Apirana Mahuika et.al. versus New Zealand” (us), at the Human Rights Commission. In this case Mahuika argued that the Crown had no right to make any decision that affected Ngati Porou’s ability to have self-determination. This self-determination apparently meant that Ngati Porou can do anything they please without acknowledging the law or other New Zealanders rights. Thankfully this ridiculous claim, at great cost to someone (us probably), was thrown out as the consultations undertaken by the government paid special attention to the cultural and religious significance of fishing for the Maori. Thus, the Committee evaluated both the process and the substantive balance between majority and minority interests. Mahuika’s involvement in New Zealand since that time has continued to be one of blinkered, bordering on racist activism with regards to driving Ngati Porou financial position forward at the expense of anyone, and he does this all under the cloak of “standing up for the rights of minorities”. However, we see his real agenda is money and power when he was cited as colluding with the Government against a minority tribe Ruawaipu to defeat their legitimate challenge to the Waitangi Tribunal. Ruawaipu stated Mahuika’s actions removed the jurisdiction of the Waitangi Tribunal from inquiring into Ruawaipu historical Treaty of Waitangi claims so as (1) to defeat the legitimate challenges by Ruawaipu to British sovereignty over Ruawaipu lands; and (2) to defeat the legitimate challenges by Ruawaipu to Ngati Porou’s false claims of traditional ownership of Ruawaipu lands. So we can see that while Mahuika will state he is arguing for minority rights when it suits him, he will quickly trample all over minority rights to gain money and power. In this regard Mahuika is like any other confidence fraudster, persuasive and slippery. His almost evangelist speeches win over many, particularly the vulnerable, just as we see in many other religions and there is good reason for me to draw a comparison with Ngati Porou and religious movements. He uses his undoubted mana to persuade Ngati Porou people that they do not need to concern themselves with democracy. He states loudly that he does not believe in democracy and that neither should Ngati Porou. He also encourages Ngati Porou people to forget about being individuals and instead they must consider themselves one of the mighty group “Ngati Porou!!”. Although his eloquent tone of voice and cut of suit are far from the average person who considers themselves part of his tribe, his ugly message is soaked up by the jandal wearing sponges bussed free to his sermons with the promise of ever growing profits. The tactics being used by Mahuika are an extreme concern to all New Zealanders of any ethnicity. They are a sickening mixture of religion, communism, racism and downright greed. Nowhere do we hear how the tactics he expounds will improve the fate of people missing out on good parenting, good education and the wonders of a life lived in harmony with people of great moral and ethical character. Sadly these very same things are the biggest issues facing his people. Youtube https://youtube/watch?v=0nTWJ7hXLmU#t=506 This man was born and raised in a democratic country, he grew up with the comforts of western civilisation and was educated with the knowledge of a modern society. The ceding of sovereignty at the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi set that history in motion. His people at the time were desperate to leave the savageness of their ancestors. And although Ngati Porou people of today such as Apirana Mahuika are quick to state they prefer the ways of their ancestors and detest Pakeha colonists for disturbing their science, the reality is the people actually affected by this savageness were desperate to leave it behind. Te Irimana Hoturangi of Wharekahika on behalf of Ngati Porou at the Kohimarama Conference, 16 July 1860 stated: “The first shadow which the Queen spread over me was Christianity. This is the chain that has held me and caused me to dwell in peace, happiness, and goodwill. I could not break away from this chain, and I could not turn back to the evil customs and the cannibalism of our Maori ancestors”. No matter what modern day pretenders and fraudsters such as Mahuika say about our history, the words of the day make their ramblings fade as we contemplate the ferociousness of it all.
