DREDGING THE LAKE MURDERLAKE --- At 1123 on September 14th, 1973; officers from Grenada County Sheriffs Office, Mississippi, pulled 2 female bodies from Grenada Lake in the Hugh White State Park. An autopsy report leaked to the press stated the bodies may have lain in the lake for up to 6 months. No definite cause of death was ever established, although the sheriffs office treated the deaths as suspicious. Despite extensive investigations no person has been arrested in connection with this case. The bodies have never been identified.
