DRUG DEALER HIT IN THE POCKET A Radcliffe on Trent man convicted of possession with intent to supply cocaine has been ordered to repay more than £15,000 from the money he gained as a result of his illegal activities. Mark Colin Roe, 33, of Bailey Lane, was given a nine-month suspended sentence at Nottingham Crown Court in January 2014 after he was found in possession of four bags of white powder at a Nottingham night club in March 2013. Following his conviction, Nottinghamshire Police used its powers under the Proceeds of Crime Act to recover assets he had acquired as a result of his activities. A percentage of all monies repaid under the Proceeds of Crime Act is redistributed to prosecuting forces to continue in the prevention, disruption and investigation of crime, whilst some monies are paid back to support other community initiatives. Mr Roe has until 30 March 2015 to pay the outstanding amount or he will be sent to prison for nine months.
