DRUM KIT FOR SALE - Item: Mapex Venus series 5 piece BLACK drum set (symbols, stands and heads included) - Price: Looking for $450. Im obviously not looking to make money back on it. Given the included items listed below, this price is more than fair. - Payment: Cash payment preferable. If we do it via bank transfer, money in the account first. - Location: Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne, Victoria - Pickup only I never regretted buying this drum kit. Mapex V series is renowned for being a good, solid set for beginners and gives off a really nice sound. Reason for sale is that my hobbies have simply changed over time and its been sitting in the cupboard gathering dust. Why hoard it when someone else can enjoy it? I originally bought the kit for $800. I later added new CB-700 heads on the 3 Toms and the Snare (one side only). From memory, the heads cost me roughly $100 but made a great difference to the sound quality. The kits in good condition. The Toms have some expected visual impact marks as theyre see through, but theres nothing in the sense of dents or scratches. The kit looks good. I bought the symbols with some rust looking spots over them. I closely monitored them and they havent spread at all. Nothing that effects sound quality or structure... it just makes them look a bit average (refer to photos) Sale includes: - Mapex Base drum (with foot pedal) - Mapex Snare Drum - Mapex Hanging Tom pair - Mapex Floor Tom - MEINL Meteor 14 Hi-hat (with foot pedal) - MEINL Meteor 16 Crash Symbol - MEINL Meteor 20 Ride Symbol - CB-700 Heads on all of the Toms and the Snare (One side only). - All stands and screws/bolts for the kit setup (as you would expect) Other included bits and pieces: - A cheap stool. (Missing the pins to secure it down so it can lift off. You can sit on it safely though) - 3 sets of drum sticks - 2 Billy Hyde practice pads (also handy to use as silencers)
