DU QUOIN -- IllinoisState Police gave out one DUI citation during Street Machine Nationals in Du Quoin over the weekend. There were two property damage crashes, one speeding citation and three total arrests reported by state police. There were other minor citations and warnings given by state police during the course of the event. “I want to express a special thanks to the attendees who exercised restraint toward making this event family friendly and safe for all attending,” ISP District 13/22 Acting District Commander Kenneth Ryder said in a news release.
