Daddy went home to be with the Lord last night, I thank God, that dad is now dancing with Jesus, and with my big brother, Daryl who passed in 88. And that I will be reunited with him when I go home to be with Jesus .My parents have been married for 65 years, so my mom has lost her dance partner. I remember how proud I was of them dancing, they were asked numerous times if they were professional dancers. I also enjoyed dad dancing with me as a kid. I barely remember when we didnt have someone living with us, my parents took many people in, that needed help. Daddy coached the Reds, my brothers team, which some of you may have even been on his team. I appreciated all the talent and abilities my dad had, he could build fine furniture, and houses, he could fix appliances, and cars. he painted beautiful pictures of people boats, animals, and scenery without lessons. We didnt have a lot of money growing up, but we led a rich life, dad rode us on his knee singing Pony Boy, and our parents took us camping and to Vermont, where mom and dad grew up. Because of them I have been in almost every state in the united states. Dad served during war time WW2 in the Army and served in the Air Force, during the Korean conflict. He was was a good daddy. Daddy rest in peace even though I have cried a lot today, I am glad you are not in pain anymore and I will always love you!
