(Dads side) My Grandma worked in the kitchen at Cook County Hospital, and later as a cleaning lady at Lake Lawn Lodge resort. My grandfather worked on the line at International Harvester (UAW MEMBER), enjoying a union-won pension in his retirement. On my mothers side, my grandfather lost his forearm and hand in an accident at work (no workers compensation) then drove a truck. My grandmother worked as admin assistant in different offices. What did your grandparents do?
