Danny Alexander conflates UKIP with SNP and both as narrow minded nationalists. Poor guy, same soundbites, different day. No wonder hes confused he thought that the Liberal Democrats were a centre left party until they got the chance to jump into bed with the Tories in Government and immediately swung right in exchange for an AV referendum that they were never ever likely to win, the got crushed in fact in that referendum. Moreover their liberal values of signing those no student fees pledges only to betray those people too. And last but not least, they voted through the bedroom tax and the sell off of the NHS in England through privatisation, the great Royal Mail rip off and is now fully committed to the destruction of the very heart of the social union safety net, social security. Maybe Danny boy should look in the mirror without looking through the prism of British elitism and arrogance and reflect on the vile, nasty and vindictive policies that his Government has forced on to the working poor, the disabled and most vulnerable people in our society.
