Dante had the popes in the lowest levels of hell but we will simply give them a garment and put them back to school along with all the people they have deceived. Protecting them and the other false teachers might be a difficult task in the first instance when the people realise what they have done to them, and particularly within the Churches of God corrupted by false doctrine. The aim of the Judgment is to properly educate and correct the human and angelic creation of its errors and prepare it for eternal life as sons of God, as elohim. It was to this end that God sent Christ: firstly to deal with sin and secondly to save those who eagerly await him.
