Dante wrote in the Divine Comedy a few lines when he was faced with the vision of God himself. Dante wrote that God is not merely a blinding vision of glorious light, but he is, most of all, l’amor che move il sole e l’altre stelle…. "The love that moves the sun and the starts." I have come to appreciate what Dante intended for us to consider, we are that love. Every single one of us is like a unique star. We may become a Shakespeare, a Michaelangelo, a Beethoven, a Freud, We have the capacity for anything we opt to become and more. I think of myself as a traveler and on this day I like to remember a few words said by an anonymous person who send me an email not long ago for my birthday that said “A birthday is the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip! Although this 365 days aren’t guaranty I pick this day to vision God and tell him thank you for the 8,395 he has given me so far, for the family, and friends. Most important to have hold my hand, and walk with me through this journey. I learn to take rest by the wayside, for I am not in a hurry. A leisurely pace accomplishes more than a hurried striving. When you hurry you forget who you are. Always watch your words for they have the power to bless or to wound. Never speak carelessly or negatively; you damage others as well as yourself. We don’t have to choose between staying close to God and staying on course… Since he is the way, love others take every second as if it was your last but learn to enjoy each breath for you never know when would it be your last. Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes many blessings for you and your families!!!
