Daoist Three Treasures, Alchemy and Plant Magic We will explore Daoist three treasure herbalism in correlation with alchemical sulfur, salt and mercury. At this intersection, we will also explore the assignment of planetary rulers to plant materials, planetary hours and the making of talismanic elixirs. Tastings available of essences made at the grave of W.B. Yeats, plus fine extractions of superior grade tonics that nourish the three treasures. This will be experiential and practical. Austins own Will Morris began esoteric work at the age of 19 with Rosicrucian studies and progressed to Egyptian temple works, the Family of Sun and Buddhist studies in the Kagyu lineage. He then received ‘knowledge’ from Maharaji after encountering the Naqual on the edge of the Pacific ocean in Venice, CA. He was initiated as a Reiki master in 1985 after a four year apprenticeship with his mother, making him 6th in lineage after the founder, Dr. Usui. In 1977, he started his astrological career, regularly practicing astro-theurgical practices and alchemical solutions to astrological problems through the methods of Church of Light. One expression of astro-theurgy can be seen in his recording of Helios Attunement which includes recordings of a Reiki attunement and a musical expression of Yi Jing interlaced with the Mayan calendar (Touchstone). Another Piece is recorded at a poignant moment in the Sothic cycle of the Egyptian calendar (Sothic Vector) samples can be heard at cdbaby/cd/willmorris. Attendees may download the files free with a flashdrive at the event. William was initiated into the three treasures path of Daoist herbal medicine by his teacher Ron Teeguarden in 1980. A path of conscious spiritual evolution through plant spirit workings, the three treasures approach to herbalism has close ties to alchemical traditions at the level of sulfur, salt and mercury (Hebrew, shin, aleph, mem and Chinese, shen, qi and jing). He spent 3 years doing NeoReichian work in the early 1980s while studying Israel Regardie’s publications on the Golden Dawn. He subsequently earned a doctorate in Chinese medicine and a PhD in Transformative Studies. This work provided the foundation for his book Transformation: Treating Trauma with Herbs and Acupuncture. He is co-author of Reiki, Hands that Heal, Li Shi-zhen Pulse Studies: An Illustrated Guide
