Data Entry Assistant - Temporary- Office of the Holyoke Mayor Essential Functions: Assist the Mayors office in preparing documents for the City webpage and the internet. Assist with certain research projects. Skills and Abilities Required: Ability to operate a standard office equipment; Personal computer skills will be required for most of the projects. Must be proficient with Microsoft WORD and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Word Press or Joomla preferred. The person should be able to work independently with little supervision. Experience and education required: Graduation from high school or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) years work experience. Bilingual applicants are especially encouraged to apply. Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position are similar to a typical office environment, which involves sitting for long periods and using office equipment including a computer and telephone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and use hands. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, talk, or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
