The Mother Francisca Catechetical and Missionary Formation Institute (MFCMFI) is an institute that encourages young men and women to be mission partners in continuing the revelation of Christ throughout the world. This year, is the “Year of Faith” which Pope Benedict XVI have declared, to mark the 50th anniversary of the Vat. Council II and the 20th anniversary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We all know that almost everyone have used the fastest messaging and connecting to people.throughFacebook, Tweeter, and other forms of instant social communications that we interrelate and interconnect the Church and God. It is through this approaches that we can use in restoring the presence of God which is now slowly been eroded. In this regard, the MFCMFI would like to join the plea of Pope Benedict XVI to change the face of the cyberspace to the face of Jesus and its message of Love. We would like to use the social media in our catechesis. The students of MFCMFI are well capable of doing such mission in the cyberspace. This we have asked our God to help us in this endeavor. With this, we would like to put up a Social Media Center, a small one to start evangelizing. With this, we need upgraded computers (at least 6). We have already in our cubicles 6 computers but unfortunately, they areoflow power. Our IT advisers recommended upgrading our computers. They said that they canassemble units which are worth 15,000 pesos each. This is the lowest cost that we can have. So we would like to appeal to the generosity of the mission partners to help us in catechizing online. Will you be our Mission Partners? You will be part of the mission that continues the work of Jesus. With regards to the manpower, our students will be trained to do the teaching on line which would serve the general public. The topics are “Heroes and Heroins of the Bible which can be related to the life of a saint and connected to the real life situation of our living heroes of today. With this, wewill subscribe a website where we can catechize once a week, share the word of God, and we also receive request for prayers and questions about faith through online. It is in this way that we can help souls to return to God. We use this means of catechizing because there are millions of Souls who are using the social media every day.
