Daughter went out to feed the chickens this morning, after a very cold, freezing night, and one of our Barded Rock hens failed to secure her place on the roosts last night and slept on the ground of the chicken coop resulting in her death by freezing...so now we will be making chicken noodle soup today. Problem is, just finished making a pork roast overnight on the wood stove, so soon we will have two large pots of food and just 3 of us here to eat! Ahhh i hate waste, so lets not do that, i say, who is coming to help us eat all this?? o.O
