Dave Johnstone recently posted a photo of N636MG a Harvard Mk.4 in Luftwaffe markings. I thought it sounded familiar and yes, it was one of the ex-Portuguese airframes (FAP 1788) taken out of Mozambique in the late 1980s. Originally despatched to the UK as a project and registered as G-BSBB, it was then restored in the USA. What is interesting is that it is CCF-555, the last Harvard Mk,4 built and I presume the last member of the T-6 family ever manufactured.
