David Mundells 5 Year Report came through the letterbox with the post today. I dont agree with his politics, but like many people, have found his team mostly efficient and effective, which is why I think people support him as their MP. I dont think that belittling the man will encourage voters to take their allegiance elsewhere. Historically, his nearest challenger has been the Labour candidate, SNP having achieved less than 5,000 votes. I hope we can persuade disillusioned Labour and LibDems voters to lend SNP their vote, whilst UKIP help to dilute the Conservative vote. I hope, too, that we can discover what the local Conservative supporters value, and find a way to bring their support on board temporarily too. Its embarrassing to live in the only blue spot on our political map. Id hate to see it still blue after the GE.
