Day 1 | Sweaty, irrational driving & super market sweep! Well, after 3 flights (London - Istanbul - Bishkek - Osh) & a 6 hour off road bus journey....we are here at Peak Lenin basecamp! It feels great to be back at this beautiful camp on the edge of the Pamir mountains. We bought most of our supplies with us from the UK but picked up some extra chocolate, nuts, dried fruit & biscuits to supplement our diet. Basecamp is at 3500m which is great & tomorrow we hope to take a gentle stroll upto 4500m. Words if the days: Lad & Monster
