Day 1 of my 5 day music challenge as nominated by Stephen Donohue. 20 years ago a workmate with exquisite music taste introduced me to many of the musicians I still love today. One or two will pop up on this challenge. My favourite of those artists is Scott Walker. It took me a long time to really appreciate Scott but now hes one of my all time favourite artists. This is the first track I heard from him. Farmer In The City sees Scotts voice at its most fragile, blended. with a sublime orchestral arrangement . Memories of sitting in a dark room with headphones on getting the crap scared out of my by this album Tilt. I nominate Robbie Byrne
