Day 12- today Ive got 2 weighing heavy on my heart & mind. Today I am Thankful for my mom, Vivian Williams. She is an amazing woman. She has been through hell and come out even more gorgeous on the other side. She has never given up on her dreams and she works her ass off to achieve them. She has taught me some of lifes most important lessons- Whatever doesnt kill us only makes us stronger and (most importantly) As long as we have our family well be ok. She is an inspiration, growing up I had a non-Leave it to Beaver childhood, but my general memory of being a kid was laughter & fun and I NEVER questioned that I was loved. Which leads me to 2- Today I am Thankful for apologies and hugs. I have had a rough week parenting; my own frustrations, tiredness and anger at other peoples irresponsibility have stretched my patience close to breaking. I am far from June Cleaver, but I am Thankful I can kneel down, hug a kid and apologize. I hope that I am raising people who never question that they are loved. Thanks for the lesson Mom!
