I applaud the mother of this child. So often we see parents who dont say anything about the wrongs their child does, dont turn them in for punishment or to right a wrong. Most would sit at home in disbelief, and wait and hope no one gets hurt, or go on with their lives and shrug their shoulders and say, I tired or I cant control them or I give up. Parents have a responsibility to also report their own children, to make that phone call to the other person who was done wrong to admit fault on behalf of their child, to plan corrective measures, and correct the wrong. People dont do this anymore and its one of the reasons we have the problems that we do with crime rates. Although this child may have mental health issues... It doesnt give all these other careless parents a get out of jail free card. Good job to this mom! She did what was right to save another child/children even with the prospect of unpopularity. Good job for paying attention! NOW THATS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY!!
