Who remembers this pretty white howling lady?? Its our dear friend EMMMAAAA!!!! Look at her now! She is doing great and loving life, and we just couldnt be happier for her! Emma came to us in the fall of 2013 in such sad shape. She was brought in by her owners who said she was dying, and needed to be put to sleep. When we met Emma, it was clear that she was not dying, she was just suffering from severe neglect. She had horrible infections of the skin, eyes, and ears, and it pained her just to be touched. We began immediate treatment on Emma which included a list of medications, a good diet, and medicated baths every other day for several months. We didnt know if we could get her to ever feel good again, but we had to try. It was obvious right away that Emma was very grateful that we were trying to help her. Within only a few days, her tail was wagging non stop and she was just thrilled with every new friend that she met. Her warm and bubbly personality just melted our hearts, and we just couldnt imagine how anyone could have let her suffer the way that she did. It took quite a while, but Emmas hair began to grow back, her eyes and ears cleared up, and she was as happy as a puppy once again. Emma is a true Res-Q Fund success story because without our Res-Q Fund, we could not have brought this beautiful girl back to life. There is never a time when our Res-Q Fund is not needed. JoAnn, Bob, Husky brother Uccio, and Emma enjoy their days going to the dog park and meeting friends, taking long walks, curling up on the couch together, and just loving life. We couldnt have asked for a better home for our sweet Emma and are just thrilled that she is finally living the life that she deserves. Here is just a short video of Emma and her best buddy Uccio, getting ready to go to the doggie park with their mom and dad. Thank you all for supporting Emma when she needed it most. What a difference your generosity and compassion has made in her life! youtu.be/O05eykIMPjA
