Day +12: Well, he is certainly looking stronger! Can everyone see those beefcake muscles?! Sam rocked out another awesome ANC today with a big 2905! We knew they would jump fast once they started but these are enormous jumps. He has been on a nuepogen injection nightly to help boost the counts and after that is taken off they will likely drop to about half, but Im great if he gets half of 2905! We may be looking at Thursday for going home simply because he has to be symptom free and eating stably. So far he has not done well with eating/drinking or reducing his pain pump. So we will see. For now, he is looking great and acting like himself again. He facetimed with Dad and talked to Aunt Tracey on the phone. He hasnt felt like doing either activity for a while now. A huge thanks again to my mom for staying with Sam so I could work on sanitizing his room to come home. While we always appreciate prayers for our SuperSam, tonight please think of my husbands family too. Matts Grandma Santhuff is in critical condition right now.
