Well, there he goes, said one man. Thats him. The rumors are out, and his name is ruined. It was told he ran with women and is divorced. Most of what has been told are lies, but some matters are based on truth no doubt. The other man says, there he goes, thats my brother in the faith. I have full and complete confidence in him. I dont care whats been said against him. I know hes in church and serving the Lord. And I dont want to hear anything bad on that brother. And these days you cant believe anything you hear anyway. Man number one. Well, dont you care about his past? There he is in church acting like nothing happened. He should be ashamed of himself. The other man says, Hey, the same blood that once saved him has covered his sins. If the man falls 7 times a day and he comes to the Lord hes forgiven and if he is good enough for the Lord to save, hes good enough to be called my brother. Man number one. Yes, but I heard. Man number two. Yes, thats the problem. You heard and the people you heard it from are church folks even preachers who should know better. Dont you remember what the bible says, in Gal. 6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Man number one. I think he should be investigated and turned out of the church. Man number two. Do it. In fact, why dont you just stone him while you are at it. And by the way, will you give this same manner of treatment to your kids who fall? Where is hope and forgiveness and faith and love. Man number one. I just dont think a man like that should be clamping his hands and singing and acting as if nothing happened. Man number two. If he has been washed in the blood, how should he act. Perhaps he should act just like hes acting. A man who has sinned and has repented he should clap his hands and worship the Lord and praise the Lord and dance and shout just like he did when he was first saved. Man number one. But hes a reproach to the church. Man number two. And that man is also an example of what the Blood of Jesus can do to sinners and everyone else washed in the blood. That blood can take an old sinner and clean him up and it can take a fallen christian and do the same. The world needs to see that kind of work. It gives everyone hope. Man number one. And thats exactly what it did for me. I think Ill go shake my brothers hand.
