Day 13 Home Rehab-- Today Home nurse came and drew labs. Followed by Mom doing my Clotting factor. Having some issues with break through bleeds so my New Hemotology Dr. is working on getting it balanced Yeah! I had an appt with a Psychologist that I was seeing in Health South. With so much going on in my life its a comfort to have someone I can talk to as my emotions are all over the place. She told me in Health South I could see outside in her practice as a new patient. We made an appt today at 1:00 pm. We showed up 10 minutes early and the office was closed. We waited and a little after one a guy shows up and unlocks the door and tell us to come in. We proceed to wait inside. After 15 I try to call her and get her voice mail. We asked the guy if he knows when she will be back in and replies with IDK I havent seen her all day. So after 20 minutes we left. I was needlessly say frustrated and disappointed. I will now have to find someone else because that kind of treatment is inexcusable . The guy in the office didnt offer any assistance , he could care less. Mom and I picked up my records from my hospital stay at Lovelace Womens hospital. Yeah! I now have all of my records!! Awesome :-) Mom then took me too Starbucks. I have many gift cards from all my loving friends. Thank you so much :-) I orders a soy chai Frap! So good! Put a smile back on my face and joy in my heart! Ahhhh the little things that bring us comfort. :-) OT came this afternoon and we did lots of pressure point therapy followed by demonstrating all my transfers My message today is its okay to cry and vent. Its healthy to release those emotions we keep bottled up because they cause great stress to our body and tighten up all our muscles in our neck and back. Those emotions also have away of erupting into two different scenarios. One would be crying Two would be anger When you try to keep those heightened emotions tethered down to your body they negate the healing process of not only your body but also the mental/emotional well being. Dont hesitate to find someone to talk to about how you are feeling. (i.e. Therapist, good friend or your pastor) There is no need to feel embarrassed , ashamed or weak. We all need extra help from time to time when we are going through tough challenging passages in our life. Its vital to talk through those feelings and emotions or there will get the better of us. Talking about them will take a load off your mind, body and soul. REACH OUT AND FIND YOUR INNER PEACE Blessings my friends
