Day 139 of Treatment (Sunday, August 31st): Trajen and I are still - TopicsExpress

Day 139 of Treatment (Sunday, August 31st): Trajen and I are still at PCH. Yep. He cleared his Methotrexate on Thursday at midnight but migraines and constant fevers have kept us here, under the careful eye of his oncology doctors and nurses. The migraines have been almost constant, awful, and relentless, with the fevers compounding the discomfort. But. Tonight he is himself. He hasnt had a migraine since mid afternoon and hasnt had a fever since late last night. I am hopeful that this means home isnt too far out of reach and that we could be released tomorrow!! Trajen had a special visitor today... His cousin Lilly (Lillys Biggest Battle Yet) who was diagnosed with leukemia about three weeks after the little man was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, came to see him all the way from Nebraska! Well, she actually made the trip from Nebraska to see her uncle (who just returned from teaching people about the gospel of Jesus Christ on a two year mission), but her parents brought Lilly and her sister to PCH to cheer up the little soldier. Perhaps thats part of the reason Trajen has perked up so much. Pictures to come!
