Day 15: I am glad I started the #SamFarrChallenge, but losing and keeping weight off is harder than it sounds. The first week, I lost several pounds but unfortunately gained some of it back in the 2nd week. I am doing my best to follow the 3 simple rules but it can be tough because of a constant changing environment. A really busy schedule and shifting time zones between California and Washington makes it hard to get into a healthy eating routine. I have gotten good about staying within the guidelines at mealtimes but I think my portions may still be too much. Need to make sure I eat before I get too hungry to help with the portion control. However, I have found that I have more energy thanks to all the walking so that is a good sign. Plus all of Marys lessons in the emails have been very helpful. Two weeks in and I would say overall this has been positive experience. How is everybody else doing after a couple of weeks of the challenge. What have been your highs and your lows? My high is the day I walked over 13,000 steps. My low was the day I was tempted by some wedding cake and the cake won.
