Day 16 In moments of struggle measuring my strength and greatness isnt always obvious to me. For one its ingrained in me to keep going - keep moving forward. But the other reason is because, in personal struggle the enemy within tries to deposit thoughts of defeat in the mind. Earlier this week I was awakened in the middle of the night to a video clip of some scene work my son Rob was doing with a family friend. Now let me say, Rob has never had any formal training in acting, and I dont think he has even read a script, let alone acted out a scene. Ive always seen the potential within him to be great at acting if he chose. He also has a very marketable look. Beyond being proud of him in stretching himself, there was a far greater personal message for me... My children are an extension of me. They are the greatest achievement I will ever have, in raising them into such phenomenal human beings! The message I received as I walked my dog Bailey that morning was, observe your greatest strength that grew literally from inside you; the extension of you - of your heart and determination. When I stand back and observe my children, I breathe in the connection of myself. Their lives are thriving and in motion. Daily I rise and stretch myself as I know vibrationally it has an affect and an effect on them. I lead by example; theyre watching and following my lead I am a Phenomenal mother. This has come from deep respect within myself as a woman. Im proud of this for it is a display of how Solid I am as a woman. I do not waiver. I stay the course in all areas of life. Yes, not only do I want it as much as I want to breathe, Im grateful to breathe - to have life and to live Alive. What motivates you to be the best YOU, you can be? ~Alisa K. #AlisaK #CreatingChange #SelfDiscovery #LivingOutLoud #Awareness #TheHumanCondition #TheAlisaK21DayChallenge #LeadingByExample
