Day 16: Toni has felt somewhat better yesterday and today. We just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for the gifts, calls, texts, and prayers coming our way...Toni enjoyed her packages from the Via family, Mentgen Family, and Bilbo Family....she and Kam continue to receive mail daily, and it makes them both very happy, and we appreciate it very much. Toni has been able to stop a lot of her pain meds, and is now trying to take everything orally so that she can get rid of her pump. She needs to try and eat, so we are working with her to do that also. Thanks to all of the nurses and doctors, social workers, child life specialists, and everyone else who helps us daily--we love all of you, and appreciate you taking this journey with us.
