Day 16: today I am thankful for my 3rd and last child Jeremy. When he was young he was my wild child and the one I worried about the most but he proved me wrong and became a very upstanding man-son-father-and soldier. He has dedicated his life to defending this great country of ours and has served 3 tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan to assure that you can sleep safely in your beds at night. I am honoured to be his mother. I love you very much my son Staff sergeant Jeremy Piper
