Day 18: Today & everyday Im grateful for my daughter Eileen Selleck. Ive said many many times how proud I am of her as a mother, homemaker, gardener, goat farmer, student and just amazing woman altogether, who I could NOT be prouder of. But today for me its all about my daughter who was Eileenie Weenie Scallopeenie long before she was all those other amazing things. Shes the toddler waddling around the house, sucking on her 2 middle fingers with her security pillow crooked in her neck. How many covers did I sew on that pillow I wonder? Shes the little brown eyed girl with the pig tail fountains fighting with her big brother Andy to hold her little brother Joshua. She was Daddys little girl who loved their tea partys with her Holly Hobby oven cakes. She was mommies little helper in the kitchen, stuffing pickle jars, smashing berries for freezer jam & especially decorating Christmas cookies. I have so many precious memories of this adorable & fun little girl. Story time & cuddling, shopping trips, lunches with mom, birthdays in the park, perms at Karen Staabs salon, Pet Parades, pictures with Santa & countless others. Eileen, you will always be my 1st Baby Girl. You have given me so much joy & laughter. I love you Sissy!
