Day 187 (Saturday, October 18th): Today our little soldier was feeling really well! He got a fresh transfusion of blood yesterday at the clinic and has pink cheeks and everything today! What a blessing blood donors are to these sweet little cancer warriors. Chemo takes such a toll on the bone marrow of these children, that having a transfusion isnt a matter of if but a matter of when. Thursday evening, Trajen had a pretty terrible migraine which I attributed to a drop in his red blood cells. Sure enough, the clinic fit us in for an appointment the next day and he was transfused. That AB neg blood took a while to arrive, so we were there all day long but it was WORTH IT! He feels so much better and has a lot more energy today. Something wonderful happened the other day that has to do with LEGOS, a toy shop, and Trajens own personal Santa Claus! I cant wait to tell you, but Ill save the story until the item arrives! In this posting Ive included some of the pictures Ive received from Trajens ARMY in your t-shirts! Im still trying to pull some off of Messenger and will post those as soon as I figure it out!
