Day #2 on vacation and my nephew Tanner and I got rescued by the life guards!!! :( We had been out jumping the waves for a long time and were at our waist deep one minute and the next minute neither one of us could touch!!! The rip tide had carried us out quickly!!! I grabbed my nephews arm and held onto him, we tried to swim parallel to the beach but the wave kept taking us under. My nephews face was filled with terror!! :( We waved our arms the best we could and yelled for help!!! A teenage swam over to us with his boogie board and we got on it until the lifeguards got to us!!! It seemed like forever!!! The one lifeguard took Tanner on his surf board and I was panicked not seeing him until we got to the rescue truck... Needless to say, we left the beach and headed to the hotel swimming pool for the rest of the afternoon. We went back down to the beach after supper and Tanner went right back into the water... I took lots of pictures from the shore!!!
