Day 2...what brings me joy? These 2! Brooks (age 10) is all boy....rowdy, athletic, smelly, and a little mischievous. But, Hes got this sweet smile that totally melts my heart. He has a sweet spirit. His manners are impeccable. He makes ppl laugh. NEVER met a stranger. I could go on. Is he perfect? NO WAY!!!! But hes my son and Im so very grateful . Then theres Ellorie (Elle age 9). Shes a tomboy but has her girly moments. Shed rather fish than play with dolls. Shes quirky and unique. Shes a very wise child. Shes beautiful. Is she perfect? NO WAY! But shes my daughter and Im so very grateful. As I remind them almost daily...If every kid in the whole wide world were lined up and I could take my pick, Id choose THEM every single time. Were a perfect match. They bring me unexplainable joy even in the moments theyre being kids and making me straight crazy...Im still joyful.
