Day 23: Today I am grateful for my eyesight. I am a visual learner and often stress my need to see something before I can comment on it. I have also come to understand that I tend to perceive and enjoy the beauty of Gods creation visually. This morning I walked into a room where Johanne Swain Washington was working and immediately noticed how a small lamp was reflecting the color spectrum on the television in the room...it looked like a four-pronged rainbow filled vivid blue, red, green and yellow hues. The sight of it was awe inspiring for me and a reminder of the divine beauty that is all around us and even painted on us. Seeing those amazing colors reminded me of how God loves the diversity of His creation in all of its complex simplicity. I am so thankful that God has called me to a life of recognizing, appreciating, celebrating, uniting, and reconciling people of all colors...I am eternally glad to be seeing HIs kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. #40DOG #lent #rainbows #sight
