Day 233 of 365. Honeyboo child liked every little thing about herself AND her situation. I-like-my-whole-HOUSE! When was the last time you were this enthusiastic about where youve been placed? About your season? And your portion. Sometimes when I find myself complaining or I have an ungrateful tongue, I chuckle not long after because if my memory serves correct, it wasnt that long ago that I was praying about the very same thing Im complaining about. This job is annoying, my apartment is too small, my car Is too slow, my school is annoying, my friends are annoying, my boo thang is annoying....etc etc Being excited about what youve been blessed with shldnt be based on conditions. It makes me think that maybe my seasons of being stagnant arent from missing lessons or not getting something but simply due to a heart lacking gratitude. Lord, thankyou for my old shoes, jeans, a running car, a job of x- amount of years, these same loyal crazy friends, my crazy family, my long process but guaranteed enrollment in school. Im STIlLL excited. Because in an instant it can be taken away. #iLikeMyPortion #SomeonesPrayingForYourPortion
